The Infant/Toddler Mental Health Graduate Certificate is designed for professionals who want to deepen their understanding of:

  • infant and toddler social and emotional development

  • family protective and risk factors

  • early screening and assessment

  • relationship-based intervention

  • infant mental health treatment frameworks

  • collaborative community practice

The program is fully online and supports professionals across disciplines who are working with children from the prenatal period through age three. Scholarship recipients commit to one year of service with Medicaid-eligible children and families in Oregon after completing the program. This investment is part of a larger statewide effort to strengthen early childhood mental health access and build workforce capacity where it is most needed.

Important dates

  • Scholarship application deadline: May 10, 2026.

  • Program application and transcript deadline: June 1, 2026

  • Classes begin: September 28, 2026

Ten scholarship awards are anticipated.

If you know professionals working in infant and early childhood mental health, early intervention, home visiting, behavioral health, pediatric care, family support, or related systems, please share this opportunity.
