January 2026 Newsletter
Updates From Us
We're thrilled to share some exciting updates on all the great things happening at Oregon Infant Mental Health Association (ORIMHA) this month.
Exciting news to share.
Last month we shared that ORIMHA is getting a fresh new look in 2026! Our colors and logo have been updated, and a brand-new website is on the way.
We also shared a short clip of a new film we developed to share our mission of supporting high quality connections for young children—a project near and dear to our hearts.
As we step into a new year, we're excited to share the full-length video below!
Remember, while our appearance is changing, our mission and work remain the same. We’ll continue supporting the infant and early childhood mental health community across Oregon with the same dedication and care. And, our current site, www.orimha.org, will stay active while we prepare to launch the new one. Please stay tuned for updates!

Endorsement.
Did You Know? ORIMHA’s IECMH Endorsement® now follows a fixed three-year renewal cycle, with the next renewal window running October 1–December 31, 2027. We know that life does not unfold in perfect 12-month segments, and this shift creates space for real-life circumstances—such as parental leave, medical leave, or other transitions—without placing undue pressure on you.
To prepare, please keep in mind that renewal requires:
If Endorsed prior to 12/31/2024:
45 hours of training focused on infant and early childhood social-emotional development and relationship-based IMH principles
For Endorsed Reflective Supervisors and Mentor–Clinical: 9 of the 45 hours must be specific to providing RSC
Active ORIMHA membership
36 hours of reflective supervision/consultation (required for Family Specialist, Mental Health Specialist, IMH Mentor-Clinical and Endorsed Reflective Supervisor add-on)
If Endorsed in 2025:
30 hours of training focused on infant and early childhood social-emotional development and relationship-based IMH principles
For Endorsed Reflective Supervisors and Mentor–Clinical: 6 of the 30 hours must be specific to providing RSC
Active ORIMHA membership
24 hours of reflective supervision/consultation (required for Family Specialist, Mental Health Specialist, IMH Mentor-Clinical and Endorsed Reflective Supervisor add-on)
If Endorsed in 2026:
15 hours of training focused on infant and early childhood social-emotional development and relationship-based IMH principles
For Endorsed Reflective Supervisors and Mentor–Clinical: 3 of the 15 hours must be specific to providing RSC
Active ORIMHA membership
12 hours of reflective supervision/consultation (required for Family Specialist, Mental Health Specialist, IMH Mentor-Clinical and Endorsed Reflective Supervisor add-on)
